Deckled Rectangles
When I cut out the deckled rectangles for the cards I posted recently, I, of course, was left with the actual rectangles! So, here are three of them on this card. I temporarily fastened them down and stamped the image on them. I decided that was much too plain, so I wanted to ink blend over the image. However, I had used Versafine ink, and it was smearing. So, I still used blending brushes, but I pretty much just "tapped" the color on. It turned out okay. Kind of looks a little bit like northern lights. I adhered the three pieces to a piece of white cardstock and then matted with black. The sentiment is from a Hero Arts set.

This is so pretty Lynnette. Using the scene in three panels like this is very effective.

Love what you did with those deckled rectangles! Very fun how you stamped the image over the three and then did the blending. Nicely done!
ReplyDeleteYour card is beautufil and I do not see the smears. I love the looks of your card. Nice job!
