One-Layer Sympathy

I made this card for Susan Raihala's blog challenge to do a one-layer card with overlapping image and sentiment.  (This was last week's challenge.  You can find her new challenge on Wednesday's post.  It's "repetition.")

I used a shadow stamp by Hero Arts with Memories Soft Leaf ink. The sentiment and image are stamped with Versafine Onyx Black ink. The sentiment is from Rubber Stampede and the image is a wooden stamp from Inkadinkado. I colored the image with Mellow Moss and Pale Plum markers.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

  2. I guess I'd better hold on to some of my shadow stamps. What a great way to use that one. Very nice card!

  4. I meant to do the challenge last week but never had time to get to it.

I love what you did with it; CAS and beautiful, as usual!

  5. Using a shadow stamp was a great idea. I have not seen a shadow stamp in quite some time. Great job Lynette.
