Christmas Sunday

I hesitated calling this post Christmas Sunday, because I'm not sure I'm prepared to post new Christmas cards again each Sunday, but I'll give it a shot. That way I'll limit my Christmas card postings to once a week, anyway:)

The set that I used for this card is from Stampin' Up! and is called Bells and Boughs. I stamped it with Memento London Fog ink and colored it with Copic markers. I embossed the top with a Cuttlebug border folder, added a couple scored lines and matted with a reddish cardstock. I'm entering this in the Christmas Card Challenge blog. The main challenge is just to make a Christmas card. The "real" challenge this week is a sketch, which looks like a great one, but I make my Christmas cards before the challenge is posted, so I rarely follow the challenge.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

  3. Wonderful coloring on the poinsettia and that border of embossing gives it the perfect balance.
You are so smart to be working on your Christmas cards all year round.

  6. I've seen this set in the book and think it's just beautiful. You certainly made a beautiful card with it. Love the embossed border. It's hard for me to make one Christmas card a month let alone one a week. I figure I'll pick up the pace in the fall, but at least I'm getting ahead a little bit. You've been a great inspiration to me for the early Christmas stamping.
