Same Card - Two Orientations

Taking a short break from using my Stampin' Up! sets. Our stamping group was discussing our Tonic punch systems and I decided to use mine. I punched a few borders with it, and you'll be seeing the cards I made with them in the next few days. For today's cards, I used the snowflakes punch. I punched the border from shimmery silver. I added scoring with my Scor-Pal. I embossed the sentiment with silver embossing powder.

This card is pretty much identical to the first one, except I made it portrait. The sentiment is from Denami.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

  2. Great CAS cards!

I read a lot of blogs, and every now and then I see card makers using Tonic punches but I've never purchased any. They don't seem to be readily available in any of my local craft stores and even when I've done Internet searches for them I never see any come up that are sold by any of the online stores where I usually shop or am at least familiar with. I like some of their designs so I would buy them if they were available to me.

Do you have a good source for Tonic products or have you had yours for a really long time and maybe they were more readily available back then? (Compared to a lot of you gals, I'm still fairly new to paper crating. :) But, the years do fly by so my stash has gotten pretty much out of hand already! :)) If I remember correctly, even Tim Holtz has (or has had) his name on some Tonic products, so I would think they would be more readily available in this country. Maybe I just don't know where to look. :)

  3. I am always amazed how striking a couple of score lines can really make a card pop! You are the scoring queen, Lynette!

  4. I don't know what a tonic punch is, but I do know these cards look elegant and fabulous. The score lines define the border beautifully and add to the clean and classy look.

  6. I'm not familiar with Tonic punches but I think that all 4 0f your cards using these punches are lovely! I love that you made 2 of your cards using the same design just a different orientation. :)
