When our granddaughter (age nearly six) was here for Christmas, I gave her a lot of my "card parts." She and her brother have been having fun with them, from what I hear. Awesome! I should be getting something in the mail soon from them. I went through all the rest of my card parts and now have them all organized and in one small box! This card uses one of the pieces.
I'm honestly not sure if someone gave me this Stampscaped panel, of if I made it myself - with a lot of direction, of course! However I got it, it has made it onto a card. It's done on glossy cardstock. All I did was add the sentiment (from Hero Arts), matted it on black and added it to a card base. I think it makes a very calming sympathy card.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!
Those Stampscapes do make the most beautiful scenes. This is a real WOW, but also soothing for sympathy.
ReplyDeleteMaybe you did that in Des Moines one year when Terri brought all of her Stampscape designs. I agree with the previous comment that it is a "soothing" card to use for sympathy.
ReplyDeleteI remember when we did all of the Stampscapes cards. I wish I had more of them. They make such a pretty card! And yours is beautiful
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful card, Lynette! I love the colour too. Thank you for your lovely comment on my blog - I did have a lovely day! After a busy week I'm feeling pretty tired now so not doing a lot. So glad you like my cards.

I remember making these with Terri's stamps - this one is gorgeous and really works for a sympathy card.
