It's time for another WHAT IF? Wednesday! Wendy, from Repeat Impressions, gives the Design Team a sketch to work with and we start creating:) This is our sketch for the next couple weeks. We invite you all to join us! Make a card using this sketch and upload it to your blog or an on-line gallery, and leave a link on the RI blog, The House That Stamps Built. You can find all the details there, and also links to the Design Team members' blogs and their contributions.
Here is my card using the sketch. I used Repeat Impressions Small Pine Tree and stamped it with Stampin' Up! True Thyme and Old Olive. I did multiple stampings before re-inking. The sentiment is also from Repeat Impressions. The matting is all True Thyme. The little squares are mosaics that I got at Michael's.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!
This is beautiful....I love how you used the different colors to stamp the tree, it really gives it dimension!
ReplyDeleteI love sketch challenges...and love what you did with this one.
ReplyDeleteReally like the stickers (brads) that add just the right dimension to the project.
A great masculine card! Like the color combination and touch of brads. Thanks.
