"Christmas Sunday"

I stamped the holly image three times across the cardstock, cut it out, colored it with Copics and matted with red. I added red Sparkles (like Stickles, but a different brand) for the berries. The sentiment is from a Technique Tuesday set.

I am linking this up to the Christmas Card Challenge blog. The optional challenge this week is to use woodgrain.

Note for Ruthie who left me a comment yesterday on this card: Thanks for the comment. That embossing folder set is retired. It's called Winter Borders. Here is a link to what it looks like. Here are a few links to places that have them. I am not endorsing any of them, but helping out a bit. Here, here and here. Sorry I couldn't write to you personally, but I didn't have your contact information.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

  4. Since I'm always looking for new products I did a search for the Sparkles glitter you mentioned. All I came up with was a Sparkles face and body glitter. I know we crafters often use things other than "craft products" for our techniques so I'm wondering if this is what you used. And if it is, does it stick well without rubbing off? The Sparkles body glitter was called a "gel" and while it would be made to stick to the skin for a while, I can't imagine it sticking to paper like an actual glue would. And if the Sparkles you used is a new craft product, I'd love to know where I can purchase it... I have not seen it anywhere else yet.

Your card is lovely! I have that same stamp and I've always felt like it was one of the prettiest dollar stamps I ever found at Michaels.
