Ah, a non "card parts" card! Well, that's not quite true. I very recently purchased this Memory Box butterfly border die and had to try it out. So, I guess this WAS a card part, since the test cut was sitting on my desk for a few days! :)
I simply cut the piece using the die and scored a line near the edge. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink. Stay tuned for another card using this die tomorrow.
Edited to add: In response to the comment from "Anonymous:" There is no embossing folder on this card. The die-cut was done with a Memory Box die called Kensington Border. Gosh, I'm not sure what cardstock I used, but it is probably Stampin' Up! Perfect Plum.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!
You always know exactly what to do with your new stuff. Perfection! I recently bought a similar butterfly border, cut a test piece in pink, but it's still sitting on my desk. Haven't been in there a lot lately with all the spring gardening going on. This is just lovely, Lynette. And inspiring!
ReplyDeleteThe die-cut is gorgeous. And makes a Beautiful card.
