I bought this Penny Black two-piece rubber stamp set in Des Moines in June. I do really like the image and sentiment, but I have found I don't like coloring it! I have stamped twenty of these card fronts, and have completed six of them so far. I have colored them six different ways, I think. For each of them, I added a flat black dot for the eye and a red gem for the dot on the "i" and matted with red cardstock.
This one was colored with Copics.
I think I watercolored this one. Fourteen more to go!

Wow! You're coloring skills are really good. With Goo-gone? Like using baby oil then I would think? I will have to try it unless my husband "borrowed" my goo-gone!
Wow, they all look so different with the variety of coloring mediums. And so pretty! Looks exactly like the black capped chickadees in my garden. That's a log of coloring, Lynette!
