Three-Flower Birthday

And the card with the left-over three squares. The flowers were die-cut from white and had ink brushed on them and an enamel dot added to each center. The sentiment is from a very old Inkadinkado set. But, the flower die cut three flowers of varying sizes, so now I have six flowers left over to use! LOL!

Birthday Flowers

So, here is the one with the three-hole die-cut. I used Gina K stamps to stamp in the windows. I also used a Gina K stamp to stamp the panel, which is mounted on foam squares.

Sympathy Flowers

My cards just "evolve" on their own, quite often. I came across this background piece that I had made a while ago by misting a piece of dark green cardstock with bleach. (I have two more.) I cut it, and the backing, with Waffle Flower dies. On the same magnetic sheet was my three-square holes die, that you will see used on tomorrow's card. Then the following day you will see a card made with the left-over squares from that card. :-)

I was trying to figure out what to make with the bleached piece and thought a sympathy card might be a good idea. I found this sympathy stamp from Paper Inspirations and stamped it in black and embossed it. Then I decided that a flower would be nice, so I used this die and cut it from black shiny cardstock and layered it to make it stand out more.

Mother's Day

A friend came over this week and she had wanted to make Mother's Day cards. As it turned out, we didn't make any. But, I had taken out my very few Mother's Day stamps so I thought I would use one. This card will probably go to Cheryl for her thrift store for next year. :-) The stamp is an old wooden one from Michael's when they used to have their dollar bin. The image panel is mounted on foam squares. I added some black Gina K sequins for added interest.

More Gold Die-Cuts for Christmas

I cut these pieces out the same time as yesterday's cards. I also added extra dimension to them. And the sentiments are again from Paper Smooches and are gold-embossed.
Sorry the sentiments are so hard to see. Here are better pictures of them.

Gold Die-Cut Christmas

I had a few scraps of gold foily cardstock on my desk and decided to do a little bit of die-cutting with them. Here are the results of that. The sentiments are from Paper Smooches and are gold-embossed. I cut all the die-cuts out of thick card and glued them with the foil for added dimension. I also added a thin strip of the gold foil between the patterned paper and the white background.

"Inchie" Birthdays

Looking through my stamps, I came across this set by Inkadinkado. It includes several "inchie" stamps. Remember them? I made these eleven cards, all using the same layout - just different stamps, colors, sentiments and backgrounds. The sentiments are all by Gina K. The image panels are all popped up on foam squares. Edited to add: I forgot the main thing!! I had a whole bunch of 1.25 inch squares that I happened upon, from MANY years ago. That's what started me making these cards.

Christmas - Patterned Paper

Super simple Christmas card. I still had three sheets of this patterned paper. I used one of the sheets to make six cards. Only two more sheets to go. LOL! I sponged the edges of the patterned paper, which is from Recollections. I sponged the edges of the sentiment panel, also. I added sequins from Gina K scattered around the background in the snowflake centers, and also three more on the sentiment panel.

Purple Birthday Flowers

It's possible I've posted a card just like this one before, but this is my latest one. I was looking through my stencils and grabbed this set to use. The stencils and also the sentiment are from Gina K. Oh, the sequins are from Gina K, too. I made three of these so I could give away two.

Watercolor Tulip

I woke up really, really early last Sunday and went to play in my stamping room. For some reason, I went for my watercolors. Not very smart, though, that I didn't use watercolor paper, but instead used mixed media paper. Oh well. Maybe next time! At any rate, I played around a little bit with leaves, then decided to add a flower. Then I decided to make it into a card instead of tossing it in the trash. The sentiment is from My Favorite Things. I used Nestabilities for the ovals. The background paper is from Die Cuts With a View.

Cheery Birthday

A cheery card made on a very gray, rainy day. The image stamp is from Inkadinkado. I colored it lightly with Copic markers. The sentiment is my last sticker from Mrs. Grossman's. The patterned paper is from BoBunny. I added thin black strips along the edges of the white panel.

I am entering this card into the Double "D" challenge, which is to use flowers.

May Calendar Page

My calendar page for May. The stamped flowers are from Image Tree and I colored them with Copic markers. The patterned paper is from a very old matstack from Recollections. I really like using it on my calendar pages because it's paper and therefore thin so my page still fits in my calendar holder.
