More card parts from years ago. I'm quite certain the stamp I used for this card is from Penny Black. It was colored with markers, misted, and then stamped on to off-white cardstock. I matted it. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink. It's matted and mounted on foam squares.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!
A place for me to share the cards I create, and maybe a few other things, too!

Birthday Fishes
I came across this background in a stack of extra parts. I think it was maybe from a card that I planned on 're-purposing." I added Wink of Stella to the "waves" which were embossed with a Darice folder. I found a fishy stamp (from Stampin' Up!), stamped it on watercolor paper and die-cut it with a stitched square die. I "messy" water-colored it and added it to the background with foam squares. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.

Birthday Balloons
More pieces cut from the Brusho piece I made in May. I cut the sentiment and backed part of it with black and mounted on foam squares. I cut the balloons from a different section of the Brusho paper. I drew the strings on the background, then embossed the background with a Darice embossing folder. The balloons are mounted on foam squares, also.

Thinking of You
Several years ago at our Group Gathering, a friend chose three pieces of my patterned paper, stacked them up, and cut them into three pieces. I had added them to card bases almost right away, but had never finished them up. It was time! To each of them, I simply stamped the sentiment on off-white cardstock, gently drew the edges across the ink pad, and mounted them on foam squares.

Die-Cut Birthday Wishes
I cut these three pieces with a die in June. I'm happy to have them on cards already! :) For this first one which is cut from blue foil cardstock, I added it to a piece of "tie-dyed" glitter cardstock. (Thanks, Georgia!!) I embossed the background with a Darice embossing folder.
It's hard to see the color of this second card, but it's actually a deep purple. I added the white die-cut at an angle and added white dots with my gel pen.
I added the third, gold foil die-cut to some dotted patterned paper.

More Die-Cut Birthday Flowers
More flowers and leaves left over from previous die-cutting. I colored them with Copics and made this card with them. The grass was cut from a die (possibly My Favorite Things??) many years ago. I drew the stems with a marker. I added Liquid Pearls for the flower centers. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.

Vellum Overlay
Two cards for today that are pretty much identical. They were both done with a Penny Black flower stamp and coloring the stamps with markers before stamping. I covered them both with vellum and did the sentiments with Versamark and black embossing powder.
For this first one, I adhered the vellum with eyelets. I heard when we were in Ankeny, Iowa in June that they were coming back, so I dug some out:) The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.
For this second one, I cut the vellum with about an inch or so hanging over the left side. I scored it and put it behind the panel that the flower was stamped on. Then I added the panel with the vellum to a card base. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up!

Birdy Birthday
I used a friend's die in June to cut out this branch with birds. I sponged the color onto it. I had the die-cut letters left over from a couple months ago. I stamped the "HAPPY" to go along with them. I used glitter tape around the edges. Happy Birthday, Gloria! :)

Rainbow Dots
I used the same stencil as yesterday for this card. For this card, though, I used Deco Foil Transfer Gel with it. On top of the transfer gel dots, I used rainbow foil and my laminator. That is SO hard to photograph! I did the transfer gel directly on the cardfront, after masking off the area with the die-cut circle. I used a Cuttlebug folder to emboss the dots on the card front. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink, stamped on a thin strip of cardstock and mounted on foam squares.

Stenciled Dot Background
I did the background of this card with a stencil that I had out for a different card. Might as well use it twice! :) I simply brushed ink over the stencil. The flower and leaf are from a Gina K set. I stamped them with Versamark, embossed them with detail black ink, and water-colored them on watercolor cardstock. I die-cut the circle and cut another out of the green cardstock and inset it into the white. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink. The flower is mounted on foam squares. I also added three enamel dots of varying sizes.

Brusho Birthday
When my new friend, Cheryl, was here at the end of May, she brought a few things to play with. One of them was Brushos, which I had never used. (Never even seen, actually.) I made a whole piece using them, and am still trying to use it up. I had die-cut this sentiment out of it, and had backed it with black and mounted on off-white cardstock matted with a thin border of bright blue. Here it is, finally on a card. I embossed the background with a Cuttlebug folder using bright green cardstock.

Punched Border Birthday
Super Simple today. Sorry I forgot to "Publish" this one, so it's a little late. I punched this "chain" border years ago and ran it through my Xyron machine. It had been sitting in a box ever since. Believe me - I'm trying hard to use up those kinds of things! Some end up in the trash, but most get used. I also have a large stack of half-sheet cardstock. This blue/periwinkle sheet happened to be at the top:) I added the punched border, scored some lines with my Scor-Pal above and below it and stamped the sentiment, from Technique Tuesday, with Versamark ink. I used clear embossing powder on the sentiment, as well.

Rose Sympathy
I stamped several of these roses and leaves a while back, so here's another one made into a card. They are from Sunny Studio. The sentiment was stamped and in my pile and I don't remember off-hand who it's from. The sentiment panel is mounted on foam squares. I embossed the background with a Cuttlebug folder.
Edited to add: This embossing folder is by Cuttlebug and is called Matelasse.

Happy Anniversary, Kris and Ron!
Here is the card that I made for my friend, Kris, and her husband for their anniversary. I saw it this type of card on Jennifer McGuire's YouTube videos. I think it's just called a shadow box card, but I'm not sure. The flowers and leaves are layered stamps and dies from Sunny Studio. I cut out the rectangle with a stitched rectangle die from Memory Box. The corner stamp on the rectangle on the front of the card, along with the sentiment, are from a Papertrey Ink set. The background was stamped with a Recollections background stamp. The "Celebrate" sentiment is from a Hampton Art set.

Holly Jolly Christmas - in Foil
This is one of those cards that is so much shinier in real life! The background was done with a snowflake stencil and Deco Foil Transfer Gel with silver foil. The sentiment is from a sheet of laser-printed sentiments from Gina K that I foiled with red. I cut it out with a Memory Box stitched rectangle die, matted with red and mounted on foam squares.

Hearts Anniversary
I finally had some time to spend in my stamping room again! I spent most of yesterday in there. I was again working on using up some pieces that I have handy, to get me moving. I had these die cuts done and ready to use, so I made these two cards. The first one will go to our niece and the second one will go into my "stash." I found a large pile of half-sheets of cardstock that I had gotten from somewhere, so I used two of the sheets for these cards. For this first one, I stamped the sentiment (from PSX) with Versamark and embossed it with detail white embossing powder. I added the dots in the hearts with a white gel pen. You can't see them, but I also added several lines towards the bottom with my ScorPal.
The card base on this one is gray, with tiny speckles. I stamped the sentiment with dark gray ink. I also added white hearts back into the pink openings. Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

Foiled Flowers
Finally - a card! Time is flying by, for sure. I actually made most of this card quite a while ago, but I finally finished it. I hope I remember how I did it. The flowers were cut with a die. I cut another piece with the same die, and then I used that piece as a stencil to apply Deco Foil Transfer Gel. I added foil to that and then I used Copic markers to color the foil. The sentiment is from Technique Tuesday. I added double-scored lines above and below the flowers and also below the sentiment.
I have another card that is finished, but no more time for blogging right now. Someday I'll have more time:) I hope everyone is enjoying the flying-by summer.

August Calendar Page
Well, a bit late, but here finally is my August calendar page for this year. We were camping and I forgot to schedule it.
I used a Repeat Impressions stamp for this page. I colored it with Copic markers and cut it out with a Memory Box stitched rectangle die. That's it!:)
I had a good run of posts - posting nearly every day for two months. I've reached the end, though! I have nothing more to post and no time for spending in my stamping room. Maybe I'll post a couple pictures of our camping trip to northern Minnesota - Tettegouche State Park. The weather was great and the views were awesome:) I have some projects that I need to get done around the house, but I'll be sure to share any stamping that I find time for. I hope you are all having a great summer so far.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!
