Wow, I almost forgot to make Halloween cards for the grandkids! Oops! I put together these five cards in about a half hour. A record for me, for sure. They are nothing special whatsoever, but they will work to hold the little bit of cash that the kids get. The papers are all Gina K, and the stamps are, also. That's about it. Happy Halloween.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!
A place for me to share the cards I create, and maybe a few other things, too!

Happy Anniversary to our Son and Daughter-in-Law
Here is the card I made for our son and daughter-in-law for their 16th anniversary. The background has been done for a long time and was in my parts. It had been done with my Letterpress. I keep thinking I should use it again, but every time I get it out to use it, I remember why I don't like it! LOL! I matted it, added an embossed strip across the bottom, and added a layered, die-cut sentiment. This card is 5 1/2 inches square.

Thanksgiving - Using Up Paper #5
And here is the last card - finally using up the Lasting Impressions patterned paper I got from a friend several years ago. Thanks, Vicki! I told you I would use it up. 😊 The center panel is a slightly "textured" pattern. I added very thin cardstock strips between the two patterns. I used a decorative circle die to cut the base for the ephemera pieces. The ephemera is from Gina K. The front pumpkin is mounted on foam squares. The sentiment is from Gina K, also.

Both of these slightly patterned papers are from Lasting Impressions. The stamps are all from Gina K. I added a gold, metallic sticker strip between the patterns. The stamping was all gold embossed. The card base is ivory.

Thanks - Using Up Paper #3
The center panel is a "textured" tannish. It and the purple stripes are from Lasting Impressions. The stamps are all from Gina K. I added glittery purple sticker strips along the center panel and also some iridescent sequins from Gina K.

Anniversary - Using Up Paper #2
Two more cards using up the Lasting Impressions patterned paper from a friend. Identical except for the "adornments." This first one has iridescent sequins and the second one has Nuvo drops. Both designs are from the package. I added thin, metallic sticker strips beside the dotted/heart paper. The sentiments are cut out of light purplish glitter cardstock and layered up.

Anniversary - Using Up Paper #1
I got some Lasting Impressions patterned paper from a friend several years. I finally got it all used up!! I will be sharing the cards over the next several days. The papers on this first card are the dotted piece and the striped floral piece. I matted the dotted piece with red and also added a thin strip of red beside the floral piece. I die-cut the sentiment from red glitter cardstock and also two other pieces from white for layers.
All of the papers on this card are from the same pack of patterned paper. I added thin strips of red between each pattern. The sentiment is die-cut from a light purplish glitter cardstock and layered up for dimension.

Wishing You Joy
Another Christmas card for today's post. I had this little embossed piece leftover from my December calendar page for next year. I matted it and added it to a card front. The sentiment is from Gina K. The snowman was stamped, die-cut, colored with Copic markers and mounted on foam squares. I think he's from Recollections.

Merry Little Christmas
I spent a little time in my stamping room yesterday and made three Christmas cards. Since I have so little to share with you, I will post them on three different days. The stamping was done with Versamark and embossed with gold. I matted with gold and popped up the panel.
I also finished up my 2023 calendars yesterday morning and got them all ready to wrap and mail out. Yippee!

Birthday Flowers
While looking through my stamps for something else, I came across this stamp set. It was one of the first clear sets I ever purchased. I can't remember who it's by. I stamped the vase and the stems with the set. The tiny flowers were die-cut with the same Stampin' Up! set that I used yesterday, borrowed from a friend in the summer. I added a sticker sentiment, matted the image panel and mounted it on foam squares. I added the cheery yellow dotted paper on the left side, and also added a thin strip of gold glitter cardstock alond the edge of the patterned paper.

Alcohol Ink Birthday
I started making this background with my alcohol inks when a friend was over. It wasn't looking good, but I kept it. I added more inks later, and I'm pleased enough with it. I simply cut the background and the matting with my Waffle Flower rectangles dies and added it to a card base. The sentiment "Sending" was made a while ago with Stampin' Up! dies borrowed from a friend. The "Birthday Wishes" was stamped using the same set. The "Sending" is mounted on foam squares.

Cheery Anniversary
A quick post today. I made this card awhile back and hadn't gotten it posted. The flower was cut with a LifeStyle Crafts die. I used a punch to make the flower center. I matted the panel with black and added it to some cheery yellow patterned paper. The sentiment is from Gina K.

I did finally finish the baby boy cards. I'll share them with you tomorrow and Saturday.

Another Baby Girl
Here is the other card I made for my neighbor when she asked me for baby girl cards. I cut out a teddy bear from baby girl-ish patterned paper from a very old Die Cuts With a View pad. I sponged a bit of pink ink around the edges and added black "nail heads" for the eyes. The ovals were cut with a LifeStyle crafts die set. The patterned paper on the bottom was from the same matstack as the teddy bear, and I also added a thin strip of pink above it. Now, on to the baby boy cards! Hopefully I can get them done soon.

October Calendar Page
October has arrived!! Here is my calendar page for the month. The cute little ghosties were made with a stamp and die by Gina K. I just added a little black ink around the edges. The background paper is ancient from Recollections. Have a great month, everyone!
