Flowery Anniversary
Using up some more patterned paper! I'll get this one used up very soon. :-) The patterns are all from the same pack. I had already cut out the flowers that are on the bottom portion, and I added them with foam squares. The sentiment is from Inky Antics. This card is 4 x 6 inches.

Gina K Technique Birthday
I made these cards using a technique that Gina K shared on YouTube. You can find it here. I followed her instructions quite closely. The second one (which I did first) is the same, just using a lighter touch and a different stencil. Basically, you first score the lines on the image panel. Then you rub an ink pad or two down the panel. Then emboss with a stencil and add some more color with a darker ink pad. Then use a Prismacolor pencil over the embossed area and then use Gamsol to highlight the color. My cardstock is ivory. The panel on the second card is popped up with foam squares.

Embossed Christmas
I've had a friend over a few times who is new to card crafting, so I've been showing her all kinds of different techniques. One was applying ink to an embossing folder before embossing. I was left with this piece, so of course I couldn't let it go to waste. I matted it with white and then with silver. The embossed, matted sentiment was in my card parts, so I added that - mounting it on foam squares. Super simple, pretty, and another card to use or to give away.

Distress Spray Background
If you look VERY carefully at the background, you MIGHT be able to see some leaves. :-) This was made with the same leaves as my yesterday's card. Even though I just did this one a couple days ago, I don't remember exactly what I did, other than use the leaves, my BIGkick, and two colors of Distress Spray. The sentiment is three layers of die-cut.

Leafy Birthday
Here is another card using leaves. I ran this cardstock through my BIGkick with the four leaves on it. Two of the leaves left nice color. (The ones in the upper left and lower right. The other two really didn't leave any color. I added color to those two imprints using ink pads, and also a little extra to the one in the upper left. I put the leaves back in place and spritzed some Distress Spray over it all, then removed the leaves once again. I matted with a rust colored cardstock. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink and is mounted on foam squares.

All-Natural Birthday
This card is made with help from Mother Nature. :-) The background is a piece of birch bark. The leaf was made with a real leaf. I ran the leaf through my BIGkick and it embossed it. It didn't leave much color, though, so I added ink to the leaf two times using different colors and placed it back over the embossed image. I added the sentiment, stamped in a gray to match the birch bark, matted the panel and mounted it on foam squares. It was pretty fun. I have some other leaf prints to use on my next cards. The sentiment is from an older Gina K set.

Happy Fall
Just a very simple fall card for today. The leaves stamp and the sentiment are from Gina K. I embossed them with black embossing powder and watercolored them. I matted the panel and mounted on foam squares. The patterned paper is from Recollections. I added a thin strip of cardstock to the right edge of it. I also added three gold sequins. The images are a bit more vibrant in real life than they appear in the photo.

Thankful Thoughts
A fall/thanksgiving card for today's post. I stamped and die-cut the pumpkins, which are from Gina K. I colored them with Copics and mounted them on foam squares. The patterned paper is from Recollections. I added a thin orange shiny sticker strip to the top and bottom of the patterned paper. The sentiment is from Stampin' Up! The card base is ivory.

Thinking of You
While digging around and organizing in my stamping room (does it ever end???), I came across a small stack of ivory and white squares. They were from MANY years ago from Stampin' Up! I decided to use three of them. I stamped the dandelion fuzz in three different colors and added them to a panel, which I popped up on foam squares. I stenciled the background and added the sentiment. The image and the sentiment are from an old Gina K set. The squares I used and the card base are ivory.

Halloween Cards for the Grandkids
It hit me on Saturday that I needed to make Halloween cards for the grandkids. Oops - kind of snuck up on me. No worries - when I get up at 2:00 a.m. I have plenty of time for making cards. Here are the three designs that I made. I made two of these second and third cards. All of the stamps are from a fall/Halloween set from Gina K and the patterned paper is from Gina K also. I have the matching dies. I mounted most panels on these three cards on foam squares. I added some black gel pen to the eyes of the spider.
On this one, I added a thin orange strip sticker along the patterned paper panel on the left.
On this one, I added some Wink of Stella to the ghosts' eyes and mouths.

Wreath Builder Anniversary
Here is another wreath builder card I made. I needed five anniversary cards for November and realized that I had NONE in my stash! So, I just made this one five times, since they were going to totally unrelated people with no chance of seeing each other's cards. I again used the wreath builder template and stamps from Gina K. I die-cut the circles for the center with Nestabilities and popped them up on foam squares. The butterflies are dies, also. The sentiment stamp is from Inky Antics. I scored a line beneath the wreath with my ScorPal, and I also added some gems from Gina K to each of the outer purple designs.

Another Wreath-Builder Card
Here is another card that I made using a wreath-builder from Gina K. The wreath stamps are from her, also. The sentiment is a miscellaneous one that I got many years ago. The image panel is matted and popped up on foam squares. The patterned paper, I believe, is from The Paper Studio. I added Wink of Stella to parts of the flowers.

Paper Pad Card-Making Session
I have watched many YouTube videos of Kristie Marcotte making cards using up a whole pad of patterned paper. I thought I should give that a try. Not so great for me! I still have lots left, but I tired of it. I need to print out some sketches and cut some pieces and then get back to it. I'd love to finish off this paper. It came from Archiver's many years ago.
At any rate, here are six cards that I've made using it. It came with some punch-out pieces, also. I have used various stamps and dies on them. They will be donated (along with many others) to my friend, Cheryl, who volunteers at a thrift store and also makes tons of cards for them to be sold at the store.

Letterpress Thanks
One more Card Parts card. I love digging in my book of card parts and getting some of them used. This piece was also done on my Letterpress - with gold and purple paint. I added lines above and below the purple dots with my ScorPal. The panel is mounted on foam squares on an ivory card base.

Letterpress Christmas
From my card parts book - I dug out these two pieces that were done on my Letterpress. They were done with gold paint. I matted each piece with gold shimmery paper. The sentiment is mounted on foam squares.

Simple Flowers
Here are a couple cards I made with some newer-to-me Gina K stamps. The flowers and the sentiments are from the same set. On this first one, I embossed the panel after stamping. The folder is from Cuttlebug. I colored the flower centers with a marker.
I mounted this image panel on foam squares. The patterned paper is from Gina K.

Grateful
I was digging through my card parts the other day and picked out a few things to use to get me going. On this card, it was just the patterned paper. It's so pretty and I wanted to use it. I added the die-cut sentiment - two layers plus a pale yellow vellum shadow, popped up on little pieces of foam tape. I matted with pale blue to match some spots in the paper and added a few Disco Ball sequins. The sequins and sentiment are from Gina K.

Wreath Builder Birthday
The first card I've made with my Gina K large wreath builder. Not great, but it's something. I sure hope to have some more time soon to play with it more. I think I'd like it better in different colors, but oh well! I colored in a few places with a Copic marker. The sentiment is also from Gina K. I embossed the bottom panel with a Cuttlebug border folder. I added a thin purple sticker strip on the blue panel. I also added three liquid pearl drops.

Butterfly Thanks
Finally - a non-critter card. They were fun, though. You can't tell in the photo, but the butterfly and the little piece on the bottom are glossy cardstock which I brayered ink onto. The butterfly is mounted on foam squares under the body. I used a stencil and light ink for the background. The sentiment is from Gina K.

Hello, Deer Friend
And the last - for now! - of the "critter" cards. This little fawn is so sweet and adorable. She and the leaves are mounted on foam squares. The sentiment is, also. It is white-embossed on green cardstock. The patterned paper (from Die Cuts With a View) is matted with the same color green.

October Calendar Page
Here is my calendar page for October. Unbelievable that today is October already!! The cute little kitty-in-a-jack-o-lantern is by Repeat Impressions. I colored the image with Copic markers and sponged a bit of ink around the edges. The background is patterned paper from Gina K.
