Hello There
After a good streak in my stamping room, I have been absent for awhile again. I finally got a chance to make another card, and here it is. I ordered a kit from SCT (Scrapbook and Cards Today) quite a while ago. It was a June kit, so it just arrived last week. I didn't know what was coming and I was slightly disappointed, but I guess it was okay for the cost. Included in the kit was the die that cut this sentiment. It is from the SCT Signature Collection.I tested it out, and of course I had to use the test piece! I decided to color the leaves. I glued it to a scrap that was on my table from my covering of a box. It was a nice size for the sentiment. I matted that panel with white and mounted it on foam squares. I embossed a full-sized card panel with a Cuttlebug folder for the background and glued it to a card base.

More "Tile" Stickers
Well, I did it - I used up all 35 of the tile stickers that I got. Here are the rest of the cards. Some are very similar, but no two are the same.

Butterfly Stickers - Used up!
I bought this package of butterfly stickers in January and I have already used them all up on these cards. Yay me. 😊 I used various papers and sentiments.

Gold Hello
I bought a package of these gold rub-ons in April at a huge warehouse. Now I need to use them up! Here is the first one - of many. I put it on black cardstock, then shimmery gold and then another layer of black. I added the sentiment with gold embossing powder. The image panel is mounted on foam squares.

Flower Birthday in Yellow
Oh, you've seen cards like this from me so often! Sorry. I post everything I make, though, so here it is again - not quite the same as others. I love this stamp from Inkadinkado. I had these rectangles on my table from previous cards and I wanted to get rid of them without tossing them. I found the scrap of yellow cardstock that matched the size I need almost exactly. I rounded the corners on it. The sentiment is from Gina K. I was not happy when I stamped it a second time to get a darker inking and didn't push it quite up to the edge. It kind of looked intentional, though, so I just colored the open areas!

Sending Hugs
More card parts panels. They were already paper-pieced. I just added the sentiment and did a little coloring. Then added some matting.

Thinking of You Flowers
Another image from my card parts book. I colored it with Copic markers, added the sentiment and black gemstones to the tiny flower centers, matted it with black and mounted it on foam squares. The sentiment is from Gina K. I also added some tiny black dots to the larger flower centers.

Happy Retirement
The embossed background, the foiled butterfly and the foiled sentiment were all in my card parts and they came together nicely enough to make this retirement card, which I think will go to my sister. The butterfly was done with my Glimmer Hot Foil system. The sentiment was printed on my laser printer and then foiled with my laminator. The butterfly and sentiment are popped up on foam squares, and the background and sentiment are matted with gold metallic cardstock.

Hello Sunshine
You will be seeing this again next March - on my calendar page. The old Sizzix die that I used cut out the sun and the rays. I used a Gina K stencil on the background piece. The sentiment is also from Gina K. Thank goodness for my MISTI or I never could have gotten the sentiment placed perfectly on the center piece sixteen times!

Thinking of You
I went over to a friend's house to play, but we only had a short time. So, I had to figure out what very limited items to bring over there to use. I went through my card parts book and chose a few images to color, backgrounds to use, and pieces to put together - along with a few Copic markers. I also planned out a calendar page and brought all I needed for that. We had a very nice time! And, you will be seeing several cards in the next few days that I made using those limited supplies.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!
I've had this image for a long time and I'm happy that it finally made its way onto a card. A very simple card for sure. The sentiment is from Gina K.

Feel Better Soon
More scraps - the pink pieces were saved from the trash by using them on this card. The image and sentiment stamps are both from Gina K. The image panel is popped up on foam squares.

Blesesings on Your Special Day
I made four of these cards, using up the last bits of sheets of 12 x 12 papers. The stamps are from Gina K. Once again, I stamped with amalgam ink before coloring with Copics, so the ink didn't smear. Then I did the coloring, and then I stamped using Versafine ink. I sure do love my MISTI. I remember when I got it many years ago. I had a REALLY REALLY hard time justifying the cost. It was certainly worth it!

Thanks and Just Because
I used up some more patterned paper for these simple cards. The stamps are all from Gina K. I did the coloring with Copic markers. First I stamped the images with Gina's amalgam ink so I could color them and then I stamped them after coloring with Versafine black ink for darker, nicer lines.

A Couple of Thank You Cards
These flowers were made recently by me, and I really wanted to use them up. A friend wanted some thank you notes, so that's what I made with them. I have more thank yous to share with you tomorrow.
The flowers were made with dies. I sponged ink on them and used black glossy flower centers - made with a punch. The patterned paper on the left side was done with scraps. You recently saw the paper from this first card, and you will see it again soon. I have now used up the whole 12 x 12 sheet! The sentiment is from Gina K.

Simple Flowers
Remember when I got some stamp sets from a friend - back in March? Well, one of the sets was these flower stamps and dies from Taylored Expressions. I made these up shortly after getting the set and now I have used them up. I had stamped them with black ink and embossed with clear embossing powder - or maybe black. I don't remember. I colored them with Copic markers and die-cut them. The sentiment stamps are mostly from Papertrey Ink, but the Mother's Day one is from Verve. I used the same patterned paper on each of them and added thin black strips along the sides. I used up a full half-sheet of a 12x12 piece of patterned paper! LOL! Only about 10000 to go! Or maybe more??

More Daisy Birthdays
I made ten of these daisies while I had the die out. I used them all up now, making seven of these cards with different papers. The papers are MANY years old. About fifteen years ago, a co-worker of my son gave me three or four boxes of "stuff" which I went through VERY carefully - sorting it out and tossing the junk. I think she must have been a Stampin' Up! demo because a lot of it was SU! things. I have a stack of samples (?) this size. Some of them are patterned and most of them are solid colors - some with textures. I came across them and thought I could use up a few of them for backgrounds for the daisies. I'm not showing you all of them, because they are the same except for the dp. The sentiment is from Gina K, as is the stem and leaf stamp. I did a little coloring with Copic markers. The flowers are popped up on foam squares.

Faux Embossed Christmas - and One More
Not sure how this will come across in a photograph, but it's "faux embossing" done with white pigment ink and die ink. The stamps are from Gina K. I added rhinestones to the centers of the snowflakes and also near the sentiment. I made four of these.
And one more just blue-on-white. Sames stamps. A little Star Dust Stickles on the snowflakes. Five more Christmas cards made.

More Sympathy
Three more sympathy cards for me and my church and maybe for the thrift store Cheryl volunteers at and makes cards for. The stamps are from an old Stampin' Up! set. i embossed the side panel with an old Cuttlebug folder. I also added some Liquid Pearls to the flower centers on this first one, which I made two of. For the stamping of the images, I used markers directly on the rubber stamp.
