Today starts a new challenge from Flutter By Wednesday challenge. This week's challenge is the theme "Summer." We'd love to have you join the challenge. Just make your card, upload it, and link it up to the Flutter By Wednesday blog. Be sure to include your butterfly or fairy!
I love daisies and they say "summer" to me. For my card, I used stamps from a set from Sheena (Sheena Douglass). The stamps were a gift from my good friend, Harriet. I colored the daisies with Copic markers. I cut the image and matting with Nestabilities. The butterfly was done with a Martha Stewart punch and adorned with gems.
I just got back from our annual "Group Gathering" in Des Moines, Iowa. A group of nine of us gathered for three days of shopping (in stamp stores!), eating, laughing and stamping. What fun!!! This was our seventh year and we already have our reservations for next year. Members of our group who have blogs besides Harriet are Sheri and Vicki. There were four from Iowa, two from Nebraska, one from Illinois, one from California and one from Minnesota.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

Such a pretty card! Did you two stamp last night again? I haven't gotten my things unpacked and put away but I am itching to play some more. Have fun today!
Lovely card Lynette! So glad you had a great time with all your stamping buddies.
BEAUTIFUL card! Love the way you popped one of the daisies! It was so fun to see you again!!!
So pretty and elegant, I love daisies, too!
Yep, flowers and butterflies -- definitely summer, and a lovely, lovely card to show them both off. Beautifully done.

Beautiful, Lynette! I can't fault the simplicity and "less is more" of your cards - again and again you produce them - you are so skilled!
I so appreciate your prayers at the moment - thank you so much. I am hanging on to the fact that they say that only 1 in 10 of those who have a colonoscopy are proved to have cancer I haven't got time for such things in my life at the moment and have so much to do and to live for!! The builders are starting full-time on Mon. and I'm so looking forward to going over and seeing our new kitchen arrive, and other things going on. This is such an exciting project.

Daisies are very summery and I'm seeing them in bloom all over the place right now. They look very pretty on your card with the butterfly fluttering and the one popped up bloom. Your trip sounds like a blast!
