Yet Another Butterfly Birthday!

This is the card I made for our daughter for her birthday, which was yesterday. She and her family are the ones that I got my Cameo Silhouette from, so I thought it was only fitting that the card I made for her used shapes cut with it!

There were four pieces cut with the Silhouette - the purple butterfly, the black butterfly, the green "holey" circle and the ivory circle. I glued the butterfly right to the circles and then mounted the circles on foam squares. I embossed the ivory background with a Swiss Dots folder and then matted with the same green. The sentiment is from TPC Studio. I also added Star Dust Stickles to the black butterfly.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

You have to know I like this card....such a pretty layered butterfly. I'm sure your daughter loves it especially since you made it using the Cameo Silhouette to make it.

Well, I just love your butterfly and I know your daughter loved it, too. You're making good use of your Silhouette and that makes your daughter and family very happy. Pretty!
