June Color Swap - Pastels and Gray

Here is the card that I made for my group's June Color Swap. The colors are pastels and gray.

I used Altenew stamps for the flower. (The leaves and the sentiment were from my card parts.) I used the coordinating stencils to color the lightest color on the flower and the leaves, and then the stamps and dies to finish them off. The sentiment is from Maya Road, as is the "swish" of color behind it.

I still haven't had any time to spend in my stamping room. Too much going on! I sure hope to some time soon. I have a friend coming over to play in about a week and a half, so maybe I'll get something done then.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

That's such a pretty flower. I love the speckled shading on its petals and leaves. I guess "busy" is better than "nothing to do." Hope your business includes lots of fun activities.

The speckling on the flower and leaves gives a look of dimension. The "swish" with the sentiment stamped over is a neat idea. Great card!

I recently developed a fondness for gray which I always shied away from before. I think your card is lovely with the flower and the textured background. I'm late, but trying to catch up before I get behind again.
