More Card Parts

I had two of these die cut pieces in my card parts book and I used them both up on these three cards. For this first one, I used the "negative parts" and mounted them on black, using the "positive" piece for placement. Then I trimmed down the black piece and added it to a white card base. I added the die-cut butterfly and the sentiment - from Gina K.

For this card, I used both the positive and the negative parts. I colored the inserts with Copic markers before adding them back in. The flower and sentiment are from Gina K and are stamped, die-cut and popped up. I also added three "nail head" stickers.

For this third card, I just used the positive over some patterned paper and then the center piece, which I added in a different orientation. The image and sentiment are popped up. They were also in my card parts. I don't remember where they are from, but they may be Gina K.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

You got three very different looks with your card parts, and they're all great! That's an interesting background die that would be very useful, especially since it puts stitch lines on all the smaller pieces, many of which could be used separately for sentiments.

That looks like it was a fun die to play with. I like all three of your cards. You did a nice job on all of them.

I love the look of all three cards. You've gotten the most out of it in the way you used it. I agree with Cheryl that the stitched pieces could be very useful on their own, whether with sentiments or other designs. You're very good at sticking to your resolve when you decide to do something.

Three wonderful cards, Lynette. I love the die you've used to get three very different cards.

I have a very similar die that I need to get out and use. I love the variety of cards you made using it.
