Scored Birthday

A quick card - and a quick post for today.
I was making this background for the card I posted yesterday, but lined it up wrong for the first score of the second direction.  So, I went with it and did it differently.  I like the way it turned out.  The daisy is from Martha Stewart.  The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

Looks like a big sunray shining down on that beautiful flower. No mistake at all! Just different than you had planned :)

I love this card and am glad you came up with a new way to make the scored lines. I agree with Sheri how the lines look like the ray of the sun and it really puts the focus on the flower.

I laughed when I read that this started out as a mistake...sounds just like me. But leave it to you to come up with a fantastic design out of it.

Oh, and you know...I'll try to recreate your mistake and never get the same results. I just know it!
