Wow – a Tutorial!

Imgp1304 - smallerI got a few emails about the scoring on the card that I posted yesterday, so I thought I would try doing a tutorial.  If I do another tutorial, I will spend a little more time on it.  And maybe get a manicure and put some lotion on my hands!  But for today, here it is!

The scored and embossed cardstock is Certainly Celery and the matting cardstock is Bermuda Bay.  I embossed the bottom layer with a Sizzix folder.  The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink’s Birthday Basics and I stamped it with Bermuda Bay.  The butterflies (punched with a Martha Stewart punch) are mounted on Pop Dot pieces, and I added pearls for the bodies.

I’d appreciate any comments you might choose to leave!

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you’ll come back and visit again soon!

Eager to try the tutorial - love the look and I was going to ask you how you did it. Thanks.
No need for a manicure - your hands look fine:-)

Lynette,
Thank you SO MUCH for making your tutorial. It was GREAT! And I DID want to know how to do the radiating design using the Scor-Pal! (I was just embarrassed to ask!) The design is so very striking as the backdrop. I know I will use it alot now that I know how to do it.

Thanks, again, for making your first tutorial! I'll be looking for more of them from you in the future! ;-)

Hugs,
Suzie

I forgot to pull rhubarb for you yesterday. Sorry :-( We both know how great my memory is.

Great cards and great job on the tutorial! Love that affect - I'll have to try it! I'm embarrassed to say I pretty much just use my ScorPal to score my cards in half!

I figured out how to do it, but would never have come up with the idea myself. I'm not good at "original ideas!" Thank you for sharing yours!
