Happy June!

June First already - amazing!!!  Of course, judging by some of the weather we've had recently, one would think it was the middle of July!  With it being the first of the month, my post for today is my June calendar page.  As always, I will make the offer of sharing my Excel spreadsheet for printing the calendars.  If you would like the file (for this year or next year or both), just email me at LJNeus@hotmail.com.

For this month, I went with a brass stencil.  I used my BIGkick to emboss the design on to the calendar page, and also on to different patterns of paper.  I cut out the boat, the sails and the flag and added them to the embossed image on the page.  I put the stencil back on the image and used markers and a glitter pen to trace over the sun, the water and the clouds.  Have a great June!

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

What a cute page to usher in the summer months! I'm sure summer will reach us one of these days but mostly it's been raining. It's warm and pleasant, but wet, and I've always got to give Wally a good toweling after he goes outside.

That is such a cute design. Paper piecing is perfect for the boat!
