Happy Together - Part One

For those of you new to my blog, here is what's going on. I have embarked on a quest to use all of my retired Stampin' Up! sets. I think I have about 200 of them, so it will take me quite a while!

For today's card, I'm using the set called "Happy Together." It consists of five stamps, and I have two of them on this card - the flower and the "stem." (Not sure it's supposed to be a stem, but that's what it is today!) I stamped with black and colored with markers. The sentiment is a Hero Arts stamp. This is a one-layer card, something I don't do very often.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

I really enjoy looking at what you create each day. I should follow your example but haven't as yet. Good card! Looks like a stem to me :)

I love that you used another retired stamp and that you left a lot of white space! Your cards are all so pretty Lynette.

Have mercy, 200! Wow! I'm about half that and I'm only trying to get through 40 or so (I just bought another new set). I love the absolute simplicity of this! So clean and white with the cute little flower. I'm certain that is supposed to be a stem, too.

The one stamp makes a very happy little stem today. This is going to be fun following you through all of your stamp sets. I'd better start selling some of mine before I even attempt doing that.

Although you profess not to make many one layer cards, you sure have the gift of placement for them!
