A Christmas-y Thank You

I received a "surprise" Christmas gift this year - a wonderful pair of hand-knitted mittens from our daughter's mother-in-law. I made this card for her. (I also had made one extra calendar this year, and I gave that to her, as well.)

It's pretty self-explanatory, but here is what I used. The "THANKS" is done with a border punch by Martha Stewart on Real Red. I scored double lines with my Scor-Pal. I embossed with a Cuttlebug border folder - snowflakes. I decided it wasn't good enough, so I used white ink on the embossing folder and ran it through my BIGkick again. The white layers are embossed with Cuttlebug folders - Swiss Dots and Snowflakes and the matting is all Real Red by Stampin' Up!

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

Nice job! I like the combination of CB folders and the way you used the MS Thank You punch. So nice you shared one of your calendars.

I love the red and white together. I clicked on your blog and my jaw dropped a bit. Seriously, between the red and white and all of the embossing that you did this card is gorgeous. I was wondering how the MS Thank You punch would look. I keep looking at it and walking away. Now I need that punch. :)
