Elegant Post - Part Two

This is the card I promised you last week - it's finally here.  It's the other card I made with Gina K's Elegant Post stamp set.

The post is stamped with Versafine Black Onyx ink and embossed with detail black embossing powder.  The hanging basket of flowers is from the same set (as is the sentiment) and I stamped it using my Stamp-a-ma-jig for placement.  I colored it with Stampin' Up! markers.  Then I decided to paper-piece the basket with the same paper I used for the background and just colored the heart.  The punching on the sentiment panel was done with a Stampin' Up! punch.  The patterned paper is all the same - a sheet of Die Cuts With a View that I purchased at JoAnn's, and I matted everything with black.

I'm not sure that I've mentioned that our daughter is expecting baby number two in early April?  We're so excited!  They are having a girl this time - how sweet!  They will be 18 months apart.  She had the 3D/4D Ultrasound again.  Last time we were with them in person, but this time was really cool, too.  We were able to watch it "live" via the Internet even though we were six hours away!  That was very fun.

Anyway, enough rambling!  Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

Well if that isn't the cutest card... Love how you put it all together. Pure genius!

My youngest grandson is 5 and I don't think they had 3 and 4 D ultrasounds then. Very cool
