One-Layer Card Gone Awry!

This card started its life as a one-layer card:)  However, I stamped the sentiment too far to the left, so I had to "fix" it.

The main image is Holiday Lamp Post from Repeat Impressions.  I colored it with Stampin' Up! markers.  I added Stickles to the snow and Diamond Glaze to the bulb.  I embossed the border on the side with a Cuttlebug embossing folder and added scored lines with my Scor-Pal.  The matting is Real Red from Stampin' Up!  The sentiment is from Repeat Impressions, also.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

Love the snow on the lamp post and the embossed snow flakes -- so pretty.

Pretty card! Sometimes when you make a mistake, it turns out to be a wonderful mistake as in this card.

As pretty as many one layer cards can be, I still prefer layers. I think the contrast of your mats make this card more striking. Also love the pretty snowflakes. I think embossing adds such an elegant touch to any card.

Your one layer cards *always* rock! But I love the way that this card came out by adding the layered sentiment. Very pretty Lynette.

Don't you love it when mistakes work out so well? This is great!
