I realized late last night (tonight, as I'm doing this post!) that I didn't have a card to share today. I have been busy the last few days working on my calendars for next year. (I make 12 sets of them. I have four months done now. Yippee!) So, I made this card really, really quickly. Honest!
The embossed portion was in my "card parts" pile. (It had been done with a QuicKutz folder.) I had gone through it again recently and pulled out a few things that I wanted to use soon. I cut a piece of white cardstock to fit into the opening. I thought about this grassy stamp that I got from Technique Tuesday, and wanted to use it. I punched a circle out of a Post-It note with a Marvy punch and stuck it on the white. I brayered with Bliss Blue, Buckaroo Blue, Almost Amethyst and Vintage Violet - all from Stampin' Up! Then I removed the circle and brayered with the ever-so-slight violet that was still on my brayer. I stamped the sentiment and the grass (both from Technique Tuesday) in Vintage Violet. I matted with Vintage Violet, as well.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

Great card! I only wish I were that good with a brayer. You make it sound so easy
Whoa, Lynette, this is so beautiful. Thank you for sharing.
This is beautiful. It's always so hard for me to make a sympathy card. You did a wonderful job with this card.
Lynette, what a beautiful sympathy card. I love your brayer work, too. I don't even own one, but love the look people get using them. The embossed parts really add to the dimension of the card. And, for a minute, your kitchen backsplash looked like an embossed background sheet. :D
Happy calendar making, L! Suzie
This is beautiful Lynette!! So peaceful!
Very pretty and serene!
