Birthday Flower

A simple birthday card for today, made from a conglomeration of stamp companies:)  I had made it for my friend, Harriet, but made her a different one instead, using this same layout.

The flower itself - and the stem with leaves - are from Taylored Expressions.  The flower center is from Papertrey Ink, and the darker dots on the flower are a tiny stamp from Technique Tuesday.  I matted the flower with PTI New Leaf and mounted it on Dimensionals.  The patterned paper was embossed with a Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder and then sanded with an SU! sanding block.  It is matted with PTI cardstock, also.  The sentiment is from PTI.  The inks are all Versamagic.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

Love the way you pulled all of the stamp companies together and made one very pretty flower. Great job!

Pretty card! Great combination of all those stamps!! I haven't stamped in quite a while... so now that Thanksgiving is over I hope to get busy at some cardmaking again... maybe even today if I can pull myself away from the online Black Friday sales! LOL!!

That's gorgeous, Lynette - I love the colour scheme, particularly the embossed background piece. I agree with Kristel that it looks very sophisticated!

Great card as usual and don't you love it when the images seem to be made for each other?
