Time for another WHAT IF? Wednesday challenge from Repeat Impressions. Wendy gives us a sketch to use and we set to work creating. We challenge you to do the same:)
Here is the sketch for this week. Simply create your card using the sketch, upload to your blog or an on-line gallery, and link up to the Repeat Impressions blog, The House That Stamps Built. Visit the blog for all the details of the challenge. One random winner will receive a $25 gift certificate. You can find the other Rock Stars' creations on the blog, too. Or click on these links:
For my card, I used a Lifestyle Crafts die to cut my circular shapes. I embossed the white with my Swiss Dots folder. The butterfly is from Repeat Impressions and I paper-pieced it with the same dotted paper as my circle. I matted with solid orange. The sentiment is from Repeat Impressions, also.
We'd love to see you join us!
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

I like your idea of paper piecing the butterfly. It's an easy way to get beautiful color and the intricate detail of a beautiful image.
