I made this card for our grandson. He is amazingly thoughtful for being only eight and a half months old:) See the beautiful flowers and vase (I wish I could have gotten a better picture) and card I got from him.
To make the black frame on the front of the card, I cut the black shimmery paper using a rounded-corner Quickutz die and adhered it to my card front. Then I used the next size smaller die and cut the inside. The bird is on the inside of the card. I paper-pieced him and did some coloring with Copics. I also added a googly eye. Here you can see the inside of the card where I stamped the thanks. The bird and "tweet" sentiment are from Fiskars and the thanks is from Heidi Grace.Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

So cute! Golly Owen is so smart and knows how to win over his grandma at a very young age. As if he needed flowers for that! haha
Oh Lynette, so "Tweet". How wonderful that Owen realizes what a fabulous Grandma he has! I'm sure that he is a great little boy to spend so much time with. It sounds like a win, win situation to me.
