Same Card - Different Colors

Two more cards that I made in June. I think I may still have a couple more, but I better start taking some time for stamping again! These cards were both made with items that Harriet had at my house. The poppies were cut with a die by Memory Box. The embossing was done with a folder from Cuttlebug. For this first one, I made it with colors. The pieces were inset into the card - I cut the die out of the embossed piece.
And this one done in black and white. The sentiment is from Papertrey and is mounted on foam squares.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

Lovely cards, Lynette, and again, interesting to see different treatments of the same elements. The second one is very effective and subtle!

Thanks for your lovely comment - no worries about taking the award further - to me, you've as good as received it, and it's well deserved. Glad you enjoy visiting and seeing what I'm up to! My latest exploits with the gorgeous Dylusions inks are so much fun, and very, very messy!!!

I really love them both, great variety, and how you used two different colors. Harriet enabled me to get this die and I'm really enjoying it, also the fuscia. : )

Lynette what a great effect! Once again you've given me a great idea and I'm definitely going to try insetting some die cuts. Thanks

Great cards! I like the first one especially with the inset flower.

Love both of your cards but using the die cut on the top card is a very pretty alternative.
