Wishing You Sunshine

I have many "card parts boxes" out on my table right now, and this image was near the top of one of them. I wanted to send a cheery card to a friend of a friend with health issues, so this is what she got.

I'm pretty sure the image is Penny Black, but I'm not quite certain. It was a stampoff from several years ago, I'm afraid. I colored it with Copics and cut it with a Nestability. The matting was also cut with a Nestability, out of New Leaf cardstock from Papertrey Ink. I mounted it on foam squares. I added Star Dust Stickles to the flower centers, Diamond Glaze to the lady bug and Liquid Pearls to the matting. The bottom layer was embossed with my all-time favorite embossing folder - Swiss Dots. The sentiment is from a Stampendous set.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

I am sure this cute card will cheer up your poorly friend, Lynette - it's adorable. Good old Swiss Dots again lol! They do make a lovely texture.

Thanks for your comment - yes, not far to go now, although there are a few more jobs to do before my new ARTHaven is ready to move in. I got my new microwave yesterday and Andy will have to wall-mount that for me when he's put the sink in, and there's the lighting to sort out, too. Not sure how that's going to work yet!

What a fun card, and I love how you've brightened it up with such delightful colors! This is, indeed, a P.B. image. I have this stamp, and never think to use it. Thanks for inspiring me to do so. Hugs...

Awww, cute! It certainly makes a cheery card. I'm sure it's Penny Black. I got some hedgies in image exchanges a few year ago and one or two are still in my image file awaiting color. A cute little critter, and actually pretty cute in real life, too!
