I had stamped this flower on white when I was making this card before I realized I wanted it on ivory. So, since it was laying on my table, I thought I might as well use it. Hence this card:)
The flower stamp is from Gina K. I used a green Memento marker for the leaves and stem and a Tim Holtz marker for the flower. I stamped the flower again on the patterned paper and cut it out and glued it over the stamped flower. I added a brad for the flower center. I used patterned paper for the background and matted it and the flower panel on solid green. The "birthday" piece was cut with a Memory Box die while I was at our Group Gathering. (Not much more than two months til we meet again!) The "happy" was stamped by inking up part of a Happy Birthday stamp from Hero Arts.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

Love it! Paper piecing is always a great addition to a card and love that die cut!
Love the bright clean colors...and I really like the die. I never think to look at word dies. I may have to rethink that!
Love your card. The birthday die is a must have for me. :) Thanks so much for sharing your cards. Have a wonderful weekend Lynette.

Cute little polka dot flower. You're so good about using up your parts. I probably would have had this extra part on my table for months, just getting moved around, always meaning to use it on a card. I'm trying to be better about that, though. Again, you inspire me!
