Birthday Greetings

I got a Bow Easy from a friend who was giving away all of her stamping supplies (thanks, Lucy!) and so I have a few bows laying around:) I thought I'd put one on a card.

The ribbon kind of reminded me of a picnic basket, so I went with my Basket Weave Darice embossing folder for the bottom of the image panel. I added a piece of matching ribbon above the embossing and used a piece of sewing thread to tighten a place to put the bow. The sentiment is from Impression Obsession. The card base and image panel are off-white.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

Cards don't have to be busy with "things" to be great cards.......and yours definitely shows that. Very pretty bow.

I do love my Bow Easy for a pretty and perfect bow. I don't always use it and hardly use ribbon anymore, but I need to get back to it now and then. Your gingham and basket weave are perfect together. I love that embossing folder. It's good to see you stamping, Lynette!
