Celebrate!

Another card - woo-hoo! :) I have actually had a little time and have been feeling well enough to play in my stamping room. It's been awesome! It's been taking a while for the mojo to come back, though. I rarely get sick and if I do, it usually only lasts a couple days. I am just getting over a cold that I've had for over a month! I was rarely totally "down and out" but felt pretty crummy for a while and am still coughing and blowing my nose a little bit. Sorry - more that you wanted to know. LOL!

You may notice another card soon with this same angle on it:) I had used one of my Memory Box dies to cut a card front. I added some shimmery blue cardstock behind it, and then added these balloons and sentiment from Impression Obsession. However, the die cut and shimmer just did not match the balloons and font of "Celebrate!" So, I trimmed off that part and matted this piece with a piece of colored, slightly patterned cardstock. I also added some Diamond Glaze to the balloons.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

So now you have this cute angled design and it turned out great in the end! So sorry you've been feeling under the weather all this time. Sheesh! That's a long time for a cold to hang on!

Love the celebratory balloons, Lynette - their strings are positively quivering with joy lol!! Nice colour scheme, too. Thank you for your lovely comment on my two blog posts and I'm glad you like what's happening chez Shosh - apart from poor little Phoebe's epilepsy, of course. My hubby is picking up her phenobarbital tomorrow and then we'll have to watch her carefully for side effects. We hope this is going to put an end to the fits which are extremely distressing to watch, and she's very upset afterwards and gets very clingy. I just want her to be her happy contented little self again!
