Looking for an embossing folder the other day, I came across this one from Darice and thought I would make a few more masculine cards. For this first one, I rubbed a kraft-ish ink pad over the embossing. The sentiment had been hot foiled and was in my card parts.

For this one, I embossed it on some mirror cardstock. The sentiment is from Gina K and was foiled.
And for this last one, I embossed black cardstock and rubbed some white ink over it. Again, the sentiment is from Gina K.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

I think I have that same folder and have used it for masculine cards in the past. You've inspired me to pull it out again with the different ways you used it. I think the card with black CS is my favorite, but they all look great.
Whoa, did your ink/mirror card ideas ever work out great for these manly cards, Lynette! I love them all, but I'm drawn to that first one because getting ink from the pad onto the in-between parts looks amazing and gives it such a wonderful vintage feel. I usually make a mess trying to rub ink on the e/f, but you've shown me that with the right e/f, it looks great! Hugs, Darnell
Your cards are wonderful. I love the vintage look. These are great masculine cards.
Fabulous cards, Lynette. The all looks so different using the same embossing folder.

What a fabulous embossing folder! I sure do have a bunch by Darice and love them all. This one is great for a vintage theme and makes really nice masculine cards!
