The stencil set that I used for the "Hey" is from Taylored Expressions, and was included in the card class that I took last fall. There are two other words that are made at the same time - "HOORAY!" and "just a note." Hopefully you will be seeing them soon so that they don't just sit on my table for ages. The radiating lines are a part of the "Hey" stenciling. The dies were included with the set. I used the die to cut the "Hey" out of the middle, then cut several more layers to pop it up before inserting it back into the radiating lines piece, which I had cut out with a circle die. I used a Darice embossing folder on the turquoise matting background.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

I love how the stencil adds shading to the word. That really makes it stand out and look dimensional. The background embossing is a new one for me. I haven't seen that one before, but I like it!
Fun card. It's got SO much movement to it. From the stenciled rays to the embossed background. Nice color choice too!
What a fun way to get the attention of whoever receives the card. Love it!
I have to say that's a very cool stencil and die set! I'm sure you won't let those other parts soon. You're very good about staying on task.
