Ribbit, Ribbit ... and an Honor

I have a little announcement to make.  I get to be a guest designer for Technique Tuesday for this month.  How awesome is that!  I applied for their design team and was not selected.  However, they asked me to be a guest "Stamping Tech" and of course I said yes.  They have clear stamps that are very high quality.  I got some in the mail yesterday and they are super!  You can find the store here.  (You can read the announcement on the SCS thread here.)

This is the first card I made with my new stamps.  They are all from the little set called "Ribbit" which you can find on this page.  I used VersaMagic Spanish Olive ink for the frogs, and Versafine Onyx Black for the eyes.  (I stamped them on scrap paper and cut them out.)  The eyes on the middle frog are mounted on pieces of Dimensionals.  Also, the middle frog itself is cut out and mounted on Dimensionals.  Aren't those little flies cute??  I matted the whole image panel with black.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

Congratulations! Maybe after seeing more of your work, they will ask you to be on the design team. Love your frogs and the one popped up is such a cool idea. And the flies are so cute - wish they were that cute in real life! Great job

Yay! Congratulations Lynette. I really like the Technique stamps and own a few. The price of this cute little frong set is really awesome. Loveyour card. I like that you you popped up the middle frog. :) Your very good at what you do and I'm not sureprised that you were chosen to be a guest designer. Now if only the embossing folder companies would pay more attention to what you do with thier products!Just saying. :)

This is such a cute card!! I'm not really a "frog" person, but these are pretty cute and the flies are a perfect little touch. And, wow... I bet it was hard cutting out those little eyes!!
