A Cheery Hello

I made this card is for yesterday's SplitCoastStampers Free 4 All challenge. The challenge was to make a card specifically for someone and mail it out. This card for the woman who cut my hair for MANY years but moved away to Arizona. She has sent me a Christmas card the last couple years, but I hadn't reciprocated. So, I'm sending her this card (along with our Christmas letter) to say hello and thanks.

The bottom layer was embossed with a Cuttlebug Swiss Dots folder. The yellow and white layers were cut with Spellbinders dies. I added a flower with gems for the center. The sentiment was cut with my Cameo Silhouette.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

Such a pretty card. I love the dies you chose. You are also getting a lot of use out of your Silhouette. I just know you friend will love getting this.

I am sure your friend is really going to love this beautiful card, Lynette. I love the colours and all the dimensional bits too.

Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog - yes, I'm super-thrilled with my new buggy! My hubby took the photo, outside his man cave lol! Today was warmer, but it poured with rain (again...) all day. We took Mum out for lunch and then afterwards I spent several hours in my new ARTHaven for the first time for ages and I had such fun working on Dad's album again!
