Repeat Impressions Stamp of the Week - Billy

Monday has rolled around again, and it's time once more for Repeat Impressions' stamp of the week!  This week's stamp is called "Billy."  You can find him on this page - just scroll down a little ways.  Please visit RI's blog, The House That Stamps Built, for all the information you need to get this stamp at 50% off this week only.  Also, be sure to visit the other Design Team members' blogs for more inspiration using this stamp.
For my card, I stamped the Billy image on some textured light blue cardstock, some plaid paper, and on white.  I paper pieced his shirt and pants, and colored the rest with markers.  I sponged around the edge with Tim Holtz Antique Linen Distress ink and matted with the light blue.  I used the same plaid paper for background and matted that with the same light blue.  I punched the border with a Fiskars punch and added scored lines with my Scor-Pal.  The sentiment is from Repeat Impressions.  It looked a little bare, so I stamped the medallion with a Stampin' Up! set and cut with Nestabilities.  EDITED TO ADD:  Actually, I'm pretty sure I used punches for the medallion squares. :)  I sponged it with the Antique Linen again, too, and added a brad.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

Awwwww, isn't that a sweet way to say "get well"! Love the shirt paper pieced to match the card. That really is such a nice touch.
