Monday has rolled around again, and it's time once more for Repeat Impressions' stamp of the week! This week's stamp is called "Billy." You can find him on this page - just scroll down a little ways. Please visit RI's blog, The House That Stamps Built, for all the information you need to get this stamp at 50% off this week only. For my card, I stamped the Billy image on some textured light blue cardstock, some plaid paper, and on white. I paper pieced his shirt and pants, and colored the rest with markers. I sponged around the edge with Tim Holtz Antique Linen Distress ink and matted with the light blue. I used the same plaid paper for background and matted that with the same light blue. I punched the border with a Fiskars punch and added scored lines with my Scor-Pal. The sentiment is from Repeat Impressions. It looked a little bare, so I stamped the medallion with a Stampin' Up! set and cut with Nestabilities. EDITED TO ADD: Actually, I'm pretty sure I used punches for the medallion squares. :) I sponged it with the Antique Linen again, too, and added a brad.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!
