A cheery card for January, I think. This is for a woman from our church who fell and broke her leg and also her ankle on the other leg. That has got to be tough!
The stamps I used are all from Papertrey Ink. I stamped the daisy petals with Versamark and the centers with yellow, then embossed with clear embossing powder. I sponged the blue ink (Baja Breeze from Stampin' Up!) and added the stems and leaves. Then I stamped the sentiment. I matted with black.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

Wow, this is a cheery card, Lynette. I love the sky background, great color.
So thoughtful of you to make this card for the woman at your church. How sad, I hope she has help at home for the next 6 weeks or so.
Thanks for sharing. Have a great day.
Oh Lynette, I really like the clean crispness of the white & yellow daisies against the softness of the sponged background.
Wow, I can't imagine your poor friend having to manage with breaks on both legs! She's going to need a lot of TLC.
This is the perfect Get Well card Lynette. I love the daisies and your sponging just sets them off so nicely. Reminds me of the movie YOU GOT MAIL where Meg Ryan's character was sick and Tom Hank's character brought her Daisies....such a friendly flower.
Sorry to hear about the lady at church! This should make her smile though!!
I am sure this will brighten her day.
What a perfectly CHEERY card! Thanks for adding your steps in doing it....a technique a haven't used in a while, but will use SOON!
