I stamped my image with Versafine Vintage Sepia ink on blue cardstock, then used bleach to "paint" the snow. The sentiment (from Repeat Impressions) is also stamped with Sepia ink. I added brown pearls to the corners. I embossed the brown matting with a Cuttlebug folder and then added another layer of blue. The card base is ivory.
We'd love to have your join our challenges. There are two open at any time - the WHAT IF? Wednesday challenge and the Designer's Choice Challenge. Both have great monthly prizes! You can find the details for both on the Repeat Impressions blog, also.
Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

Lynette, I do like the blue/brown colour combo. I never would have thought of 'bleaching' the colour out of CS to achieve the snow look. How smart are you? Then of course you know that I love cuttlebug embossing to give depth to background layer. A great card!
So true. Love that sentiment. The blue and brown are nice here together Lynette.
This is great! We used the same colors. Just makes sense for a winter tree! Love the wood embossing too.
Love this card - you are so creative - wish I could tap into your creativeness!

Oh, the texture that looks like tree bark is perfect for your card!
Cool idea to bleach "paint" the snow. This is a gorgeous card - I love the layers.

Love how you created the snow! Great masculine card!

This is such a WONDERFUL design! The colors and embossing folder really make you focus on the tree! WELL done!
Perfect use of this image. The embossed background is a great companion and the blue and brown looks good as a masculine card. Great sketch, too!
