Cupcake Birthday

I hope you all enjoyed the Memorial Day weekend. We had a very nice weekend. Got some walking done, ran some errands, and had an out-of-town wedding.

Today's card is just a simple birthday. The image (with sentiment) is from Stampin' Up!'s Easy Events. I colored with Copic markers and added Stardust Stickles to the frosting. I cut with a circle Nestability and added doodling around the edge. The matting was cut with my Silhouette. I mounted on Dimensionals. The background is from the very first matstack I ever bought! (from Die Cuts With a View. But, now that I think of it, I may have bought a couple from Sizzix before this one.)

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

Pretty and perky! The loopy mat is so cute. I've been feeling the love for purple lately. If this paper is any indication, that must be a very pretty matstack! It's fun to get out the old stuff and make it look new again. You did that very well with this card!
