Repeat Impressions Stamp of the Week - Sea Turtle

My goodness, Mondays roll around much too fast!!  It's time for a new Repeat Impressions Stamp of the Week already!  This week's stamp is 4103-K, Sea Turtle (lg)  (scroll down just a bit.)  Please visit the Repeat Impressions blog, The House That Stamps Built, to find out all the details on how to get this stamp for 50%, through next Sunday.  Also, visit the other Design Team members' blogs to see their creations using this great stamp:
For my card, I paper pieced the turtle by stamping the image on two different patterned papers and cutting them out.  (All my papers are from an older "The Slab" that I purchased from Michael's years ago.)  Because the papers were thin, I also stamped it on a piece of cardstock and cut it out and used it to adhere the patterned pieces to.  I mounted the turtle on Pop Dots.  I embossed the strip across the center with a Cuttlebug folder.  The sentiment is also from Repeat Impressions.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

I like that! Your paper piecing is great and you had the perfect papers to use. Like the cuttlebugged addition - makes it look so sea worthy :)

I love that paper you used that you embossed - it looks just like a sea turtle's shell - so perfectly done!

I just paper pieced for the first time on a tree because you inspired me to try. I really like how it looks and I had to mount mine on card stock as well. Thanks for the tips!

I especially like the cuttlebugged strip...it looks iridescent in the photo and gives great eye appeal!
