Very Vanilla Birthday

Well, I do have a card to share today, but my brain isn't working very well - I can't even come up with a title for the post!  They are never very creative, but at least I can usually think of SOMETHING!

I started with some watercolor paper.  I stamped the leaves (from the Hot Spot at Archivers) with Tim Holtz Peeled Paint distress ink.  I spritzed it with a mini mister filled with water and gold Perfect Pearls.  You can't see the glimmer at all in the picture, but trust me, it's there.  I added the Cameo Coral dots later, to tie in with the other image I stamped.  I colored the flower image (Hero Arts) with Stampin' Up! markers, then spritzed. I even "shimmered" the Old Olive matting.  The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink and is stamped with Cameo Coral.  The card base is Stampin' Up! Very Vanilla - hence the title for my post.  LOL!

Here is a picture of what Dana sent me as blog candy.  Isn't it awesome?  Printed paper, stamp sets, ribbons, buttons, brads - all kinds of things!  I used some things yesterday in my card-making, so you'll be seeing them again later.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

Great colors and I don't care if you couldn't think up a post name.

Lynette your card is beautiful! I love that you used the watrcolor technique by misting the stamp. It is my favorite way of watercoloring. I love the colors that you used. awesome blog candy you received. As for being creative with post titles I can identify with you. I seem to be a tad chalenged at doing it. :)
