WHAT IF? Wednesday – A Sketch

Imgp1917 - smallerTime for another WHAT IF? Wednesday challenge!  Wendy has provided us (and you!) with a great sketch.  This is what I’ve come up with.  You can find the challenge and the sketch on the Repeat Impressions blog, The House That Stamps Built.   Besides just being a fun thing to do, you also get a chance to win a $25 gift certificate to Repeat Impressions just for playing!  One random winner will be chosen each month from all the participants.  I hope you’ll join us!  If you upload to an on-line gallery, please use the keyword J2810.
Here is the sketch:
j2810 Be sure to check out the other Rock Stars’ creations, too.
For my card, I stamped the image (2423-L Under the Sea) with Versafine Onyx Black ink and colored with Stampin’ Up! markers.  I scored a double line with my Scor-Pal under the image and embossed the bottom section with a Cuttlebug Bubbles folder.  I used Diamond Glaze on the fish, the crab, and the bubbles.  I let it dry thoroughly and then sponged Soft Sky over the top and bottom sections.  The matting layers are Crushed Curry and Soft Sky.  I used a Fiskars border punch for the Soft Sky layer and embossed again with the Bubbles folder.  The Crushed Curry layer is embossed with a Fiskars texture plate called Ocean.  The sentiment is a rub-on from Stampin’ Up! and I punched it out with a Word Window punch.  The brads are by Bazzil.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you’ll come back and visit again soon!
