Turquoise and Brown Color Swap

I decided to sign up for the color challenge in my stamping group this month, but kind of ran out of time. Here is the simple card I made. While I was at it, I made two more! The stamps are both from My Favorite Things. I stamped them using dark brown ink on turquoise and matted with dark brown. The card base is kraft.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

I am so glad you signed up this month. All of the colors are posted in the database so you can stamp ahead. I hope you will continue to sign up with us. Thanks for the card. It is lovely!

Beautiful colour combination, Lynette, and a very suitable image for a sympathy card - lighthouses do speak of hope, don't they! Light in a dark place.

Thank you for your lovely comment. I am glad to report that I am now feeling a lot better and have a clear week until it all starts again... I've got a rather exciting commission that I'm working on, and hopefully I'll be permitted to blog about it in due course! As for the smock, that, along with everything else, has had to take a bit of a back seat, but you will see it completed in due course, with patience!

I love your new blog background. Very stylish.

I never thought of using one of my lighthouse stamps for a sympathy card but I really do like yours! I'll certainly be pulling out my lighthouse stamps now too.

This makes a wonderful masculine sympathy card. The image is perfect, and so easy, so I could see making several. It turned out great!
