Monochromatic Daisy and Butterfly

Still using things up - well, attempting to make a dent in them! LOL! I've had this package of puffy, cloth butterflies from Martha Stewart for many years. I think there were maybe six of them, possibly eight, to begin with. Now I think I have only two left. (You'll be seeing another real soon.) I decided to go monochromatic for this one. The background stamp is from Stampin' Up! I used a dot of Liquid Pearls on each flower. I sponged around the edge of the image panel and also the sentiment, and I mounted the sentiment on foam squares.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

I like the monochromatic idea for this one. That's a lovely background for the pretty butterfly!

You're doing a good job of making a dent in your supplies. That's a cute butterfly and I love the SU background stamp. I'll have to go look if I still have that one. See, I think I let it go, but now I honestly wish I still had it because it looks so cute here and I'm sure I have a lot of stamps it would look perfect with. I just don't have room for everything and it comes to a point where I have to let some good things go, knowing I'll replace them with other good things. I like the monochrome look of this. Really sweet with the little pearl dot on each flower. Looks like a fun time stamping!

Gorgeous card! I love the addition of liquid pearls and the inking around the edge, too. It looks so elegant.
