Sparkly Birthday Hearts

More stickers out of the drawer and on to cards. Yippee! These three hearts were left in a package. I also used the packaging cardstock - the green patterned "paper" couldn't be tossed. I also added two thin foily stickers on the top and bottom of the image panel. The sentiment was in my card parts - a gold-foiled, computer-printed piece.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

You inspire me! I love how you use paper other than typical cardstock and tags and old stamp sets when making your cards. I have gotten many good ideas from you and have used them very successfully in my card making. It’s amazing how many things we can recycle into beautiful cards. I have been using some of the beautiful paper from store bought cards that I’ve received and made them into lovely cards. It’s such a waste to throw them away and hard to keep them all forever. I’ve also used paper from the card envelopes which often come in beautiful colors. I’ve made 3 beautiful Christmas cards for this year from tags that I would have never used on packages (simply because I don’t normally put tags on gifts) because I saw your post using a tag. And the previous Christmas I picked up an old stamp set on EBay after having seen you use it and made some beautiful cards. Some of the old sets are gorgeous! Thank you again for showing us we can use what we have to create and to look at things we would normally throw away in a different way. Have a beautiful Autumn. Kate

Those are great stickers! Using part of the packaging card stock is a great idea!

This seems like a pretty quick--and fun--card to make. I love it when a card comes together quickly, but looks like you spent a lot of time on it. Those heart stickers are so cute. They're like three birthday hugs on a card. :)

Ack, love this one! So cute and fresh. Of course you couldn't toss such pretty packaging. You're doing great using up those stickers!
