Recycled Anniversary

We received a thank you from friends, and it was just too beautiful to toss. So, I cut the front of it off and removed the backing. I took the die-cuttish piece that was left and made this card. I backed it with glittery greenish cardstock. The sentiment (from Papertrey Ink) was stamped on ivory cardstock and mounted on foam squares. The card is about 4 x 6 inches.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

Great idea to upcycle the too-pretty-to-toss card, Lynette! I love the die-cut and the tone of that glittery-ish background paper! Happy Easter! Hugs, Darnell

It is such a beautiful die cut piece! It would have been a shame not to recycle it.

This made for a beautiful card. I know I am always so pleased when someone thinks enough of my cards to recycle them and send to someone else.

Wow, that's gorgeous! You don't see many store bought cards with die cuttish pieces on them. You did wonders with it. What a lovely anniversary card! Happy Easter tomorrow, Lynette!
