Black and Cream Wedding

I used a die to cut the black piece on this card, then cut a piece of ivory to fit. I embossed the ivory part with a Darice embossing folder and added a coule scored lines on each side of it. The sentiment is from Papertrey Ink and is matted with black and popped up on foam squares. I think it would make a fine wedding card, or perhaps even an anniversary card.

Edited to add: I broke down and ordered a few more dies from China. :( I thought I wouldn't do it again, but I couldn't resist. This is one of those new dies. I don't honestly know if it's a rip-off of some other company's die, but I'm assuming that it is.

Edited to add - again: For Doublemindt: This die is from China. I ordered it from AliExpress.com.

Thanks so much for stopping by, and I hope you'll come back and visit again soon!

Elegant and beautiful!!! Love how you fit the cream piece on top of the black rather than two separate pieces. I'll remember that!!

Lovely and very elegant card! Is that one of your Chinese dies or can you give a Brand name and die name? It is so pretty and intricate. That style/shape of die is not familiar to me so I must find out which company it is from (or which company it is a copy of if it "is" a copy).

This is just gorgeous, Lynette! Your color combo makes that pretty die look even more elegant. I think it's perfect for either a wedding, engagement or anniversary card.
